The Pierre

Dun Laoghaire

The Pierre is a boutique development of 18 luxury apartments housed within the former landmark Pierre Hotel on Dún Laoghaire’s seafront.

The design brief for both the protected structure and contemporary wing, was for a complete refurbishment to provide modern living spaces for the property market while paying attention to and incorporating the many period details.

Mount Merrion

South County Dublin

This project involved the refurbishment of an existing house with a simultaneous development of 2 semi-detached luxury homes in Mount Merrion Dublin.

The semi-detached homes are essentially a modern twist on its wartime predecessor, with period features such as a fanlight over the grey front door, box-bay windows, and a half render, half red-brick façade with a marine-style porthole.

The brief was realised using a boutique contemporary style producing quality light filled homes. Fitted kitchens, bathroom designs, subtle serene palettes of blues greys and lemons, custom made drapes and fitted furniture were commissioned to reflect a modern family lifestyle and fulfil the end design.

Rathgar

The brief to create a contemporary living space while remaining empathetic to the original protected structure and its original features; for a young fun-loving family.

Considered thought was given to colours for each room and the intended use and orientation, while always keeping in mind continuity and flow of the overall ambience of the home. This was then further reflected in the choice of all textures and textiles within each space.

Details such as bespoke furniture pieces were commissioned to fit seamlessly along with auction room finds.

The main kitchen and living space reflect and an abundance of light and openness with strong lines, which realises the brief of a modernised protected dwelling.
